THE Bishops Finger has done it again … propelled Tasmanian Times across beautiful Bruny. The TT team of elite triathletes, Rick Pilkington, Anna Pilkington and Glenn Campbell relayed the 64 kilometres of sometimes tortuous never-ending uphill gravel as if on winged feet.

And, soloing every painful 64 kilometres were the TT team of Janine Crotty, James Crotty and Lindsay Tuffin; with that amazing veteran Dick Crotty running 50km. Tuffin, at one stage Cliff-Younging at approximately 1km/h up a nasty little incline, was nearly blown off his feet as eventual winner Paul MacKenzie swept by. Regular jelly bean support was provided by the venerable Mick Heatley. Motivation by Paul Malarski.
